Ritual is an evolving process. In the Passover Haggadah, such evolution has been actively encouraged:

"One who expands the telling, that one is praised"

Prayer has been added to frequently; L'cha Dodi was incorporated into the Shabbat evening liturgy only in the 16th century.

Feminist ritual has many faces. It speaks about God language, reinterprets/augments existing ritual/liturgy and adds ritual to mark the fullness of the life cycle.
