  • In 1919, the US Senate passed the Women's Suffrage bill.

  • In 1833, Ada Lovelace (the future first computer programmer) met Charles Babbage.
  • In 1967, the Arab-Israeli Six-Day War began. A cease-fire (arranged by the U.N.) ended the war on June 10th.

  • In 1720, Mrs. Clements of England marketed the first paste-style mustard.
